LA PIEVE
Montale di Levanto is an ancient center of Christian life in this region. It was built on the Roman "pagus Cebula", mentioned in the VII century, later called "Plebs de Ceula" and with this name mentioned in the Bull of Eugene III of 1149 and in other later documents.
Then the Pieve di Ceula took the name of Montale and later that of Levanto.
It had almost all the churches in the area under it and had a chapter of canons.

GROUPS
The group of animators of the parish of S.SIRO MONTALE DI LEVANTO represents the real backbone of the entire youth reality of our parish community.
The youth dimension in our parish is of fundamental importance for the entire parish reality.
For this reason the animators group promotes, proposes and carries out all the initiatives of the youth groups. In addition, it coordinates all these activities creating a real collaboration with the other parish realities present.
THE CATECHESIS
Educational action is certainly one of the main objectives and takes the form of the training of young people who will become the adults of tomorrow and who must have at their disposal a wealth of skills and knowledge that allows them to make future choices with consistency and respect for the next one.
The Catechesis of the Parish is carried out in a traditional way by approaching young people immediately to the sacraments through specific paths and guiding adults in the same way, our Parish is strongly motivated to continue this journey with the aim of forming good Christians and good citizens.
LITURGICAL ACTIVITIES
This activity includes the preparation of the liturgy (readings, preparation of the altar), the cleaning and maintenance of the Church. The various initiatives proposed and implemented were all aimed at making the parish more accessible to the people and the faithful who in particular are part of the parish territory.
